Yesterday was quite eventful such that I learned quite the valuable lesson about CD rentals at Tsutaya. This might be quite useful as I have heard that downloading music etc. is highly illegal in Japan (thanks for the info Chris >_<). So while trying to avoid boarding the pirate ship to torrent land I signed up for a Tsutaya membership. Tsutaya is a place where you can rent tons of CDs and DVDs for the mere price of your first unborn child (jk lol). So last week on Wednesday I rented some awesome Japanese punk rock CDs (2 LM.C CDs) and the T-ara best hits CD and finally the Beast "Fiction" CD. Alas I was greeted by my own strange expression as I tried to place the Beast Cd into my MacBook and was met with disdain as I couldn't locate the CD drive... Oh, that's right, there was none. So as I sat with my 4 CDs and the contract signing away my first child I pondered as to what I should do. I figured l, hey at least my car has a CD player and enjoyed a week of listening to 2/4 of the CDs I rented. The next Wednesday had came and gone... (They were due on Wednesday Brandon!) and I had walked into Tsutaya on Thursday. Not knowing what to expect I apologise and tell them I'm sorry but I was a day late. Then the bombshell came o.o and after paying the exact same price as the rental (my second unborn child T_T) I was able to leave without feeling any guilt (just feeling a slight pain in me bum, due to lack of lubrication).
I left and went to the supermarket to find dinner which always makes me happy! There was a good deal on beef and I needed beef to make my soup so I was in! I made some muguk 무국 which was absolutely delicious, but took forever to boil haha (its a beef and radish soup and radish takes forever to cook >_<). In the meantime i used the other half of the steak and seared ally the edges leaving a nice medium rare feast. That along with a cheese-filled hamburg (yes filled with delicious, cheese-like material) and the octo-people (sausage that are cleverly cut into octopus-like beings, thanks for that one Japan :D) my meal was set. So, despite the slightly perturbing late fee, I came out with a great meal and a good nights rest~ and lets not forget the Fujiya strawberry shortcake that I literally destroyed in two bites @_@
